FOUNDER and HEAD GERMAN TUTOR
As a child following his parents around Europe for their work, Matthias developed a love for languages. After college, he followed his heart as an interpreter touring Europe, translating between English, French and German. He retrained in education and found his second love – teaching the languages he adores. After teaching for many years and wanting to tour Europe again, Matthias set up Summit Languages so he could combine his two passions.
Laure grew up hanging out at the Champ de Mars.

HEAD FRENCH TUTOR
Laure grew up in Paris and studied French Literature at Panthéon-Sorbonne University. After university, she moved to the US to read a Masters in Business Management. Laure then stayed in the US working in management, but tutoring in French on the side. Post maternity leave, Laure joined Summit Languages full time as a Head Tutor. Her knowledge of French literature is unrivalled and has been vital to teaching advanced French, while her management skills are critical to the smooth running of the team of tutors.

HEAD ENGLISH TUTOR
Bored of being stuck in her home town, Elizabeth took a gap year and travelled the world. Planning to move permanently abroad, she started learning multiple languages and majored in English Language. Elizabeth then spent most of her life teaching English at International schools in a variety of countries. Wanting change, Elizabeth joined Summit Languages. We are extremely grateful to have her on the team and for her 20 years of experience teaching English to people from many nationalities.
